EWE faced the demanding task of significantly boosting awareness and purchase intent for their fiber optic offering. In a fiercely competitive telecommunications market, a complex product requiring explanation had to be communicated in a way that would generate both attention and understanding among the target audience. The challenge called for a TV commercial that would stand out through emotional depth from the often technically-focused competition. The production needed to be not only impactful but also efficient and scalable – serving as a strategic foundation for future EWE campaigns.

Approach and Realization

The campaign's centerpiece was a charming commercial concept: a tomcat becomes the emotional heart of the home and thus the perfect ambassador for EWE fiber optic connection quality. An innovative AI-powered workflow was employed for execution: Using Storyboarder.ai and ChatGPT, we developed the storyline, concept, and copy, while Freepik provided us with the visual foundations. For animation, we utilized Kling and Runway, two leading platforms for AI-based video and animation creation. We flexibly realized the professional voiceover through Wondercraft. This modular approach enabled the production of a high-quality animated commercial that focuses on emotional appeal and charming storytelling while offering maximum scalability for future adaptations.

The resulting commercial captivates with its distinctive character and creates a likeable brand image for EWE. The tomcat as visual and narrative anchor ensures high recognition value while simultaneously providing a scalable blueprint for additional EWE campaigns.
