A Fresh Breeze for the "Home of Freshness": The MILRAM Website Relaunch

 

Background and Challenge

MILRAM, the main brand of Deutsches Milchkontor (DMK), is known for its high-quality dairy products with strong roots in Northern Germany. However, the existing website no longer reflected the freshness and authenticity the brand stands for. The goal was to modernize the digital experience and create a visually appealing and emotionally engaging platform that communicates MILRAM's "Home of Freshness" while offering real value to users. In addition to showcasing products, the website needed to emphasize cooking inspiration and the lifestyle surrounding food enjoyment.

 

Approach and Realization

We developed a flexible, modular website concept that highlights MILRAM's brand identity across all devices. A custom-designed 360° header welcomed users with an immersive brand experience – even on mobile. We integrated a large external recipe database, offering users a wide selection of Northern German dishes and specialties to explore and recreate. In addition, we created seasonal landing pages tailored to specific themes like fondue, raclette, and football gatherings – each filled with curated recipes, helpful tips, and engaging content. Interactive modules such as a Recipe Finder and minigames added entertainment value and boosted user engagement.

 

Results

The relaunch transformed MILRAM's digital presence into a modern, brand-aligned platform that connects functionality with inspiration. The new site brought the "Home of Freshness" to life online – offering a seamless blend of product information, culinary ideas, and interactive experiences. With its modular design and seasonal flexibility, the platform became an effective and engaging tool for consumers while strengthening MILRAM's position as a fresh and friendly household brand.
