At the Cutting Edge: Our Social Media Campaign for Bahco's Electric Tools Points Out Excellence in Agricultural Precision
Background and Challenge
In 2021, we developed a B2B social media campaign for Bahco under the motto "Created to Cut." The campaign's objective was to showcase the launch of Bahco's portfolio of electric cutting tools designed for vineyards, orchards, tree nurseries, and green spaces. Our challenge was to establish a lasting impression of this new product range in the minds of the target audience. We strategically focused on Instagram for brand awareness and LinkedIn for lead generation, targeting B2B wholesale buyers and purchasing agents in the wine and olive cultivation sectors.
Approach and Realization
To create authentic content, we conducted a professional video and photo shoot at a vineyard, producing testimonials that served as the foundation for realistic application videos and visuals. These materials demonstrated the tools in genuine working environments, highlighting their practical benefits. The cutting-edge approach emphasized the high-performance capabilities of Bahco's electric cutting implements while maintaining authenticity in the presentation, allowing potential customers to envision the tools in their own operations.
Results
Beyond the successful image and video production that ensured a high-impact social media presence, the campaign was complemented by a newsletter, a product catalog, and a customized portfolio overview on the website. Wine and olive growers could now quickly and thoroughly inform themselves about Bahco's comfortable, energy and time-saving harvesting tools. The campaign proved so successful that it was repeated in 2022 for a product line extension that included several olive shakers and a chainsaw, further establishing Bahco as a leader in specialized agricultural cutting tools.
