JavaScript

JavaScript is a versatile programming language primarily used in web development. It was developed in 1995 by Brendan Eich at Netscape and enables the creation of dynamic and interactive web pages. JavaScript is one of the core technologies of the modern web, alongside HTML and CSS. While HTML determines the structure of web pages and CSS is responsible for design, JavaScript adds interactivity and dynamism.

• Backend development: With technologies like Node.js, JavaScript can also be used on the server-side, enabling the development of complete web applications with just one programming language. 

JavaScript is the key technology for creating modern, interactive web applications. Its flexibility, support by all major web browsers, and the enormous developer community make it one of the most important and widely used programming languages.
