A trendy look and strong storytelling for the INDOLA Street Style Collection
Background and Challenge
For INDOLA’s Street Style Collection (SSC), new expressive hairstyles are scouted on the street every quarter. These are then transformed into easily recreatable cuts and styles, serving as a reference and inspiration for hairdressers and their clients. Our task was to develop an attention-grabbing storytelling approach for the social media presence of SSC’s new spring/summer and autumn/winter 2022 looks, as well as to give the website an appealing update.
Approach and Realization
To creatively present the materials from the latest photo shoot, we clustered them together and gave them a distinctive look and feel. For our storytelling approach on social media, in addition to Facebook posts, we developed an engaging series of Instagram stories, utilising the entire range of materials: photos of the new looks, including before-and-after comparisons, behind-the-scenes footage featuring interview snippets from hairdressers, as well as how-to stills and videos. On the website, visitors could admire the trendy images of the new looks and access the instructional guides.
Results
The new Street Style Collection for 2022 quickly garnered a lot of attention: the fresh content on the website provided ample trend inspiration, while the Instagram stories generated consistent link clicks and sparked conversations in the comments section.
