Background and Challenge
MEDION and ALDI TALK faced the task of conveying the emotional message behind their annual mobile phone tariff packages. Based on the campaign slogan "Sharing Moments for a Whole Year," the goal was to develop a TV commercial for winter 2024 that would capture the campaign's central idea: staying connected with loved ones across distances. The challenge was to authentically and compellingly showcase this emotional core message.
Approach and Realization
The creative execution centered on a special family moment that demonstrates connection despite physical separation. By deliberately using familiar FaceTime aesthetics and picture-in-picture mechanics, an emotional bridge was created that audiences instantly recognize. This visual language makes the message " Sharing Moments for a Whole Year" tangible and invites viewers to immerse themselves in the portrayed situations.
Results
The campaign produced 20-second spots for TV and Connected TV, broadcast on both free-to-air television and streaming services like Amazon Prime and Joyn. Additionally, a compact 6-second version was developed for online platforms like YouTube. The campaign delivers ALDI TALK's core message in a way that emotionally engages viewers and inspires them to share their special moments.
