Fresh. Bold. Digital: poppi’s UK launch.
One look at a drinks can may spark curiosity about a brand. How do you carry that energy through an entire website? For poppi’s UK launch, PepsiCo commissioned us to create a digital presence that brings together the brand’s colours, products and personality. Drupal provides the technical foundation; UX/UI, interactive details and flexible product modules shape the experience.

A first impression that feels like poppi
For its entry into the UK market, poppi needed a website for a young, design-conscious audience. The site had to express the brand’s vibrant personality while helping people explore the range. That raised a design question: how could every flavour have its own character while the website still felt like one place?
Our response combines a shared framework with room for the products to stand out. Colours, cans and fruit define the pages. Recurring structures help visitors find their way between the different flavours.
Five flavours. One coherent experience.
Strawberry Lemon, Raspberry Rose, Orange, Lemon Lime and Wild Berry each have a visual world of their own. Product pages draw on the colours and ingredients of each flavour, making the variety of the range visible in the design itself.
Flexible templates and modules support these distinct identities. The information architecture remains consistent: product presentation, ingredients and further product information all have their place within a shared system. Visual expression and navigation were developed together.
A brand experience that editors can maintain
We built the website on Drupal and organised its structure into modules. Content and products can be maintained and extended within that structure. The editorial team has a shared technical foundation behind the individual product worlds.
The templates translate the design into reusable components. This is Creative Engineering in practice: considering the visual experience and its technical implementation together. The freedom to give a flavour its own identity becomes part of the website’s structure.
From wireframe to smartphone
A clear content structure underpins the design. Wireframes organise the information before colours, imagery and interactions are developed. The project images show that progression from page structure to finished design.
Responsive web design carries the experience across desktop and smartphone. Visitors can explore the range, take a closer look at a flavour and discover the brand’s story. Interactive elements reflect poppi’s playful tone, while product information remains part of the user journey.
What we delivered for the UK launch
The result is a Drupal brand website with a distinctive presentation for each flavour. It connects the product range with the brand story and provides a modular foundation for ongoing content management.
Our services covered website concept and content structure, UX/UI, interaction design, product presentation and Drupal development. The work also included responsive design, modular templates and content integration.
A lesson for brand platforms
A shared technical structure can support different product personalities. To make that work, the concept needs to define what stays consistent and what can change: information, modules, colours, images and interactions.
For poppi, we connected those decisions across UX, design and development. A collection of product pages becomes a coherent brand experience with a common editorial foundation.
