Cloud architecture for dependable websites and platforms.

Preparing for campaign traffic, reviewing unclear operating costs or planning a migration? We assess your architecture and plan improvements to performance, operations and ongoing development.

The campaign is ready. Can the platform keep up?

The media plan is agreed, but nobody can say how the website will behave under the expected traffic. Or the platform runs while cloud bills and responsibilities become harder to understand. We assess the application, data, infrastructure and operations together. This helps identify specific improvements and the changes that need to be tested first.

Architecture connects user experience and operations.

A suitable architecture provides a foundation for a dependable experience and clear operating workflows. It makes required capacity, dependencies and incident responses visible. Economic value comes from appropriate resources and sustainable operations. Savings, response times and availability are planned, tested and measured for your application.

Four questions before your next architecture decision.

Suitable cloud architecture can be explained through the tasks and limits of your system. These questions make the requirements concrete.

    • Where does the delay occur?

Is the bottleneck large media files, slow database queries, external services or insufficient capacity? We investigate a relevant user journey before planning more infrastructure.

    • Which failures must you handle?

We establish tolerable interruptions and data loss, along with dependencies between services. This informs backup and recovery requirements and how these processes will be tested.

    • What drives ongoing costs?

Compute, storage, traffic and additional services are considered alongside maintenance and support effort. A cheaper component does not necessarily mean lower total operating costs.

    • Who can maintain the solution?

Access, documentation, monitoring and responsibilities need to fit the team. We consider existing contracts and requirements from your IT and privacy contacts.

Start with a focused architecture review.

We select a platform or critical user journey. Together we agree the available information, access and depth of review. A useful initial scope can deliver the following.

    • A clear picture of the current system

Applications, data flows, external dependencies and operating responsibilities. Observed bottlenecks are distinguished from assumptions and unanswered questions.

    • Prioritised options for the next step

Specific changes with their expected effects, effort and potential side effects. For a selected option, we plan a pilot, load or recovery test and a way back if problems occur.

Change step by step and assess the results.

We can improve existing infrastructure or migrate an agreed part of the application. Each step has test criteria, data-transfer arrangements and a recovery path. We assess whether a change helps against the agreed operating targets and total costs. Service hours, support response times and ongoing support are agreed separately.

    How we deliver

    01

    Review requirements and systems

We assess applications, data flows, load assumptions and current costs. This informs priorities and criteria for architecture and provider selection.

    02

    Plan the technical foundation

We design accounts, networking, access, logging and security requirements for the agreed scope. Responsibilities are clarified between the team and providers.

    03

    Assess and migrate applications

We review which systems can move unchanged and where adjustments make sense. Each step includes plans for data transfer, testing and incident handling.

    04

    Evaluate resources and costs

We make usage and costs attributable and assess possible changes, including their effects on performance, availability and operating effort.

    05

    Agree operations and development

We agree monitoring, maintenance and operating targets. Load and recovery tests help assess the planned architecture under defined conditions.

    Sources and technical context

    • AWS Well-Architected Framework

A technical framework covering areas including operations, security, reliability, performance and costs. Provider selection remains part of the project assessment.

Where is your platform under pressure?

Tell us about the application, the current bottleneck and any relevant deadline. We will identify which initial assessment and next step could help.
