GEO in practice: Customer questions and evidence

A practical GEO review: choose customer questions, check gaps and technology, add evidence and assess suitable enquiries.

Your brand is missing or incompletely represented in an AI answer. Before building a long action list, check which question was asked and what useful answer your own website provides.

A GEO review should enable concrete improvements. We connect customer knowledge, , journeys and technical access. This is our recommended approach, not a guarantee of placement.

    1. Select questions from real decisions

Use sales conversations, search data, support and product advice. Distinguish exploration, comparison and purchasing intent. A definition and a search for an implementation partner need different answers.

Start with a bounded topic. Record , language, decision context and the existing page for each question. Where data is missing, label the selection as a hypothesis and review it with subject experts.

    2. Review your own answer

Can someone understand the offer, its suitability and its limits? Are technical terms explained? Is there a specific example? Can a claimed result be traced to a source, timeframe and scope?

Separate missing knowledge, unclear presentation, unsupported claims and outdated information. They need different work. Another generated paragraph cannot replace a missing project reference.

Expert interviews, original photography and documented experience can provide the foundation. Our content service connects that original work to for digital channels.

    3. Examine technical access

Check whether important information is reachable and readable, which pages can be indexed and whether internal links to the relevant . Structured data must match what visitors see and be appropriate for its use.

Google’s and AI Mode do not require a special AI file or schema. Its documentation points to established search fundamentals. An llms.txt file should therefore not be sold as evidence of successful GEO work. Google Search Central

If templates or the CMS make useful content hard to publish, include that cause in the implementation plan. A platform review can bring editorial work, UX and development to the same task.

    4. Improve one complete content journey

A useful starting scope might be one important service or product page, its evidence and enquiry path. This is an example, not a universal package.

Agree the result before beginning: reviewed claims, clear selection criteria, suitable original material, usable presentation and a functioning next step. Include ownership and later updates.

AI can support drafts and adaptations. We take responsibility for concept and quality; subject information and required client approvals are obtained through the agreed process.

    5. Separate observations from business results

Repeated AI queries can indicate how a company is represented. Record questions, systems, date and variation. A change in these samples does not prove the effect of a single website measure.

Add relevant visits, actual enquiries and suitable conversations. Ask prospects how they found you when appropriate. Together, these signals provide a better basis for further investment.
