    Digital platforms for multiple markets.

When every new language becomes a separate build, content needs a shared foundation. We connect Magnolia DXP, content models and suitable AI workflows with the systems your brand already relies on.

    Discuss your architecture

One product launch. Several markets. A reliable content baseline.

Product information lives in the PIM, images in the DAM and local copy in different systems. Just before , an approved product changes. Which pages are affected, who reviews them and which version may go live? Platform quality becomes visible at these handovers. A digital experience platform, or DXP, connects content management, delivery and supporting services. A standalone serves a different, more limited purpose.

A shared purpose for marketing, editors and IT

Creative Engineering connects the brand idea with editorial work and technical delivery. Shared models and reusable components can support local adaptation. Sources, versions and approvals make quality reviewable. AI helps prepare a defined task where it is useful. We take responsibility for concept and quality. Specialist and legal approvals are agreed with the responsible people in your organisation.

Magnolia as the content hub: six distinct responsibilities

Composable architecture connects distinct responsibilities through defined interfaces. Magnolia can manage content, pages and editorial workflows. We assess additional systems against your existing estate and the work required to operate them.

One possible arrangement is outlined below. We scope the products, licences and integration work required for your project.

    • Product data and assets

PIM, ERP and DAM remain responsible for the agreed master data, product information and media. The website uses approved data rather than maintaining competing copies.

    • Content and approvals

Magnolia manages structured content and pages. Content type, language, source, validity and ownership are considered in the model and editorial workflow.

    • Search and assistance

Magnolia Answers powered by ai12z or another suitable search service can help visitors find content. Algolia belongs in this category. Updates, access rights and traceable answers require explicit integration work.

    • Commerce and transactions

A commerce system such as SAP Commerce or commercetools owns the agreed catalogue, pricing and order functions. We explicitly define which information is mirrored in the CMS.

    • Experiments and event data

Magnolia Experiments powered by Kameleoon supports testing. Segment can route events to analytics systems. Hypotheses, consent, measurement definitions and data quality determine what results can establish.

    • Delivery and operations

Websites, portals and apps receive the appropriate content. Preview, cache updates, monitoring and rollback belong in the architecture; a headless API alone does not provide a complete operating model.

Agentic AI: from approved knowledge to a reviewable draft

A useful pilot starts with a recurring content type, such as a product page for an additional market. We define the permitted sources, mandatory fields and uncertainties that must stop the workflow.

An agent can prepare a structured draft and invoke suitable tools. Missing product claims remain open questions. Translations are checked against terminology and market requirements. A change to source content must remain visible and return affected language versions for review.

Magnolia documents capabilities including document-to-page creation, translation and metadata assistance. Availability depends on version, modules, licensing and configuration; some features are labelled beta. Automated checks flag issues and do not replace specialist or legal approval.

When a composable DXP makes sense

Several brands, many languages, shared components and complex integrations may justify a DXP. Its value must outweigh the additional responsibility for interfaces, licences and operations.

A focused campaign may only need a microsite or an extension to the existing website. An existing Drupal, TYPO3 or other CMS may also provide the better starting point. We compare improvement, gradual replacement and a new build against the same requirements.

Evaluate quality and cost in a real workflow

Before a pilot, we document the current process. We then compare factual errors, rework, approval rounds and time to approved publication. The number of generated variants alone does not demonstrate quality.

The cost assessment includes licences, model usage, integration, editorial review, monitoring and maintenance. Personalisation is tested against a suitable control. More content or a positive individual test does not establish additional revenue.

A Magnolia partner with your brand in mind

Davies Meyer is listed in Magnolia’s official partner directory. We connect this platform relationship with concept development, content, design and engineering. For your selection process, we discuss which specific work and responsibilities are relevant to your project.

    How we deliver

    01

    Define the task

Choose one content type and one user journey. Output: a shared objective with sources, stakeholders and testable acceptance criteria.

    02

    Map content and systems

Assign fields, systems, permissions and approvals. Output: a content model and an interface overview with open decisions.

    03

    Build a bounded pilot

Connect a limited workflow to a reviewable draft. Output: a preview covering failure cases and explicitly identified uncertainties.

    04

    Review quality together

Check sources, language, design, usability and permissions. Output: documented findings and a decision on necessary rework.

    05

    Roll out with control

Agree onboarding, operations, rollback and further markets. Output: a prioritised expansion plan grounded in what the pilot demonstrates.
